ABOUT
This is a new working group, convened in the lead-in to the (2025) “Idiorrhythmic Imaginaries research exhibition” at UniArts Helsinki, curated by Henk Slager, and accompanied by a two day discussion and presentation programme as part of the “Kuva Research Days” (December 11-12).

UPCOMING
Dr. Kerry Guinan will be exhibiting work as part of the “Idiorrhythmic Imaginaries research exhibition” at UniArts Helsinki, and will co-present work together with Prof. Mick Wilson on mapping the political imaginary at the Kuva Research Days” (December 11-12).
The Imaginaries group will also be co-publishing an online bibliography and resource list in Spring 2026 in cooperation with HDK-Valand at the University of Gothenburg.
The group will also be contributing to the second week long intensive on “Researching Imaginaries” in Autumn 2026. (Go here for information on the first such intensive in Spring 2025.)

This working group emerged form a seminar organized under the aegis of the Methodology working group when they organized a session as part of the Transmission in Motion series at the Faculty of Humanities in the Utrecht University in March 2025, and in response to the curatorial agenda for the forthcoming “Idiorrhythmic Imaginaries research exhibition“.
